Scotts Stabilizer Kit with BRP Sub-Mount for the 701 Enduro and SM
A complete Scotts Stabilizer kit with a BRP Sub-Mount that uses rubber bushings for a vibration dampening handlebar mount that helps prevent arm pump and reduce rider fatigue, while also housing the stabilizer. This mounting system raises the bars approximately 15mm, retains the stock front to rear positioning and places the stabilizer under the bars, allowing more room for other items on the bars. The frame bracket mounts around the stock ignition switch and blends in nicely with the stock frame. All pieces are engineered for a clean fit and only slight trimming of the plastic shroud covering the key area is required. Lower bar bends are available as an option if you don't want any bar rise. Contact us here if you have any questions.
The BRP sub- mount uses (8) rubber bushings to isolate vibration and reduce rider fatigue by softening the harsh spike of hitting square edge rocks and obstacles. Two different durometer bushings are included to fine tune the amount of vibration dampening. (Red = Medium and Blue = Soft.)
We also offer a large knob for the slow speed circuit of the stabilizer. The large knob was designed to be used primarily on bikes with oversize handlebars or with bars that do not have a crossbar, however, it is possible to use this knob on "crossbar-type" bars as long as there is enough clearance for it to physically fit, which is determined by where the crossbar is, relative to the stock knob. Many bikes with crossbars require the smaller knob as the large knob will not clear the crossbar. The larger knob makes it much easier to make quick changes on the fly.
The Large Knob price includes all the parts required to make it functional on your existing stabilizer, including a new stainless steel spring and ball for your base valve, and Allen wrenches.
